The PRODEF Group, created in 1924, specialises in the manufacturing and selling of hygiene, cosmetic, cleaning and disinfection products.
With its 100-year history and family expertise, the group has been able to strengthen its position with production workshops in France in order to manufacture high quality cleaning and hygiene products, the majority of which are certified.
Manufacturer of real traditional Marseille soap, cosmetic soaps and cleaning products (which are Ecocert certified) in one of Marseille’s oldest soap factories.

THE HYGIÈNE & NATURE SITE
The Hygiène & Nature site is located in the centre of Côte-d’Or in Dijon. The workshop works with the laboratory to design and manufacture hygiene and cleaning products which are more environmentally friendly, with certified products. The company is PME+ certified and a member of the FEEF (Federation of Companies and Entrepreneurs of France), which is proof of quality and commitment. Hygiène & Nature specialises in disinfectant, stripping and cleaning products for the hygiene of spaces.
This workshop manufactures the liquid hygiene, professional cleaning and cosmetic products for the brands Hygiène & Nature, Maître Savon de Marseille and La Corvette, for the liquid soaps.
THE SAVONNERIE DU MIDI WORKSHOP
Created in 1894, Savonnerie du Midi is one of the last traditional soap factories located in Marseille. Since 2018, a shop and a museum retracing the history of Marseille soap have been open to the public on the production site. It manufactures and markets soaps for cleaning and for the body, especially the true Marseille soap.
This workshop manufactures the solid hygiene and cleaning products for the brands Maître Savon de Marseille and La Corvette, and the Hygiène & Nature soaps. Savonnerie du Midi was granted the Living Heritage Company certification in 2020 and the Quality Tourism certification in 2022.
Renovation of Savonnerie du Midi
PRODEF has recently invested in the renovation of Savonnerie du Midi located in the 15th arrondissement of Marseille. Existing for more than 130 years, the objective was to preserve the traditional know-how of the manufacturing of the true Marseille soap. Open to the public since 2018, Savonnerie du Midi now has a museum and a shop, allowing visitors to discover our story and values.

THE COMPAGNIE DU MIDI WORKSHOP
The Compagnie du Midi workshop is situated in Carros Le Broc (06). The company specialises in the production and marketing of wiping products. The workshop also manufactures la véritable Nénette and markets a cleaning and washing range distributed at racetracks.
Its products (sponges, scouring products, cleaning textiles etc.) meet the different daily and occasional needs (routine maintenance, DIY, works) of the general public and cleaning professionals.
Manufactured in France since 1947, Compagnie du Midi markets the famous “Nénette”, a liquid-soaked polisher dedicated to vehicle cleaning. It is completed with a premium range of ecological car cleaning products.
Compagnie du Midi has obtained the EPV (Living Heritage Company) label This label shows the recognition from the State which distinguishes the French companies with excellent handmade and industrial know-how.

Compagnie du Midi manufactures and markets wiping products destined for individuals such as professionals, through our brands Maître Savon de Marseille, La Corvette, Hygiène & Nature and La Nénette. Our expertise in this field is the result of years of experience and constant commitment to quality, efficiency and sustainability.
