A traditional soap factory
Maître Savon de Marseille was created by Savonnerie du Midi, one of the last soap factories in Marseille. It makes use of the traditional know-how of a master soap maker. The soap factory has perpetuated the ancestral methods for more than 130 years. Maître Savon de Marseille offers soap products including real Marseille soap, soft soap in liquid and paste form, Aleppo soap etc.

Maître Savon de Marseille offers soaps for home cleaning and cosmetic products for the body. The Marseille brand offers Provençal and liquid soaps, and a range of products for the home and laundry (the majority of which are Ecocert certified) which are available in supermarkets.
Committed to real certified Marseille soap
Maître Savon de Marseille, through Savonnerie du Midi, is a founding member of the Union of Marseille Soap Professionals (UPSM), an association which was created in 2011. The union defends any Marseille soap which is manufactured in the Marseille region, with a procedure which respects tradition: saponification in cauldrons and only with vegetable oils (72% minimum), with no colourants or artificial flavours.
