Hygiène & Nature is a 100% French SMB which specialises in designing, producing and marketing cleaning, disinfecting and hygiene products for professional clients (distributors, local authorities, industries) and the general public (food supermarkets, subcontracting). Hygiène & Nature is a subsidiary of the family group PRODEF, created in 1924.

Definition

You will be in charge of one or more manufacturing (or packaging) lines, and ensure its proper functioning and the quality to give the product its final appearance.

Manufacturing Arrangement Handling

• You will inspect the operation and safety status of the installations and the production equipment
• You will supply the work station with materials or products, or check the supply of it
• You will package the finished products on pallets
• You will monitor the operation of the machine/packaging line and the testing devices, and adjust them in case of any deviations
• You will verify the compliance of the packaging of the products (water-tightness, weight, temperature)
• You will detect any malfunctions of the machines and equipment, and carry out simple interventions in the event of an incident
• You will fill in the manufacturing or packaging monitoring documents
• You will also adjust the machines and equipment, or amend the adjustments (pace, film framing, line configuration etc.)

Activity exercise conditions

• The activity of this job is exercised within manufacturing or packaging structures of an industrial hygiene product company.
• It is exercised through a 2/8 shift pattern (night work possible during certain periods).
• The wearing of personal protective equipment (PPE) (safety shoes, goggles and overalls are mandatory)

Skills

• You will be familiar with and will be applying the rules of safety
• You will be using testing and/or measuring devices and tools (binocular loupe, scales, ruler etc.)
• You will be using unmotorised handling vehicles (forklift truck, sack truck)
• You will be familiar with the quality standards
• You will be applying the handling movements and postures
• Cleaning and disinfecting procedures
• You will be familiar with and will be applying the rules of hygiene
